Music documentary fever

For some people, music is just a noise in the background. For others, it marks every moment of the day, every memory of their lives.

For those people, watching a music documentary can be breathtaking.

Starting today and until Nov 6th,  I’ll have a music documentary overdose with In-Edit Beefeater.

Here you can see the complete program, which includes docs on George Harrison, the Queen, David Bowie, , Dave Brubeck, … but more importantly, docs on music movements, eras or special collaborations.

The In-Edit Beefeater festival started in 2003 and has been groing ever since. It is now being held in Santiago (Chile), Buenos Aires (Argentina),  Sao Paulo (Brazil), Puebla (Mexico) and Berlin (Germany).

It’s growing success allowed the In-Edit to become also a distribution company. Check out their titles here.

As every great festival, it has some very interesting parallel activities. And as this one isn’t your ordinary doc festival, it offers you the possibility to see some of the films ONLINE!

Here is my favorite documentary from last year’s edition,”Under Great White Northern Lights”:
